Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.

OK, I have to guess on the Sears Shots... #1 is the entrance to turn 8 looking back towards the NASCAR chute.

#2 is you way to early into turn 2, gonna be lucky to keep it out of the tire wall at the exit.

I think the first Infineon shot is from Turn two, first one going up the hill...

And that second one is just crazy  (Turn 7?)

These pictures are great. I'm using them on my desktop.
I kind of want the game, just so I can take pictures of all the sweet cars.

For #1, the only 2 places I can think of that have flat straight painted berms on driver's right are the bottom of the carousel, and the entry of turn 8. The scneery in the background looks right for the later.

For #2, 7 is flat and doesn't have that fencing behind it. I'm pretty sure it is 2, but it is remotely possibly it is 3a.

No, I'm affraid I'm correct, so this discussion is over.

j/k

Actually, I think the second one might be turn 4 now that I look at it.

I wish Scott would tell us for sure.

1st picture is T2, looking back down the hill at the T1 bridge.

2nd picture is after I intentionally hit the burm at 3a head on (just so I could take that picture). Yes, I did end up into the tires afterwards.

So I was right on the first one, Dean kinda had 3A picked for the second one...

If I can find my thumb drive, I'll put up pictures of my 95 STi Sedan, White w/ Gold Wheels...It's been tearing up the beginner races.

Also, I ran a 1'15.799" in the Audi R8 for a Gold in the S-18 License test (Gold was a 1'16.1"). That's hauling some ass with a metric vengence.

Yep, it's one of the license tests... that car is *insanely* fast.

Yeah, I see it now.. I would have expected to see water off to the right in the distance in #1.

That turn 2 berm isn't as flat in real life as it looks in that picture. it should look more like 3A's berm. You should be able to catch much more air off of 2 than 3a because you are carrying more speed. The two corners are very similar visually.

Still pretty impressive for a video game...

Yeah, T2's a little flat... but not as flat as that picture makes it look. I think they had to trim it back a little for gam playability... since there's *tons* of low-consequence bumping when racing the computer AI, they needed to make T2 a little wider so you can "miss" the apex inside w/o totally ruining your lap. True it's not realistic, but this is GT*... and the GT games always seemed to be made to look *very* real in the replays, but drive sorta arcadeish.
