Trying is the first step towards failure.
Default Dyno testing close to Reno?

Is there anyplace besides S-Squared Motorsports that's close to Reno for dyno testing? I'd like more info on S-Squared but their website doesn't work. Also, I don't feel like driving there. My WRX is Stage 2 (Cobb DP, SPT CAI, heatshield and CBE) and I can take logs on my laptop with Enginuity but would like to be able to find exact HP and TQ. Any suggestions? Thanks.

SSquared is no mas....We go to DBtuned in Roseville, or GST Tuning in hayward.

Paul at Dbtuned in Roseville will take care of you, and is the closest, especially for just getting baseline runs. Both shops use Mustang load-based AWD dynos.

IF you took the logs on a straight flat road in 3rd gear from 2k to 7k, I think there's software out there that can be used to make a "dyno" graph. I'd have to search for it though...maybe later.

Ed of EQ Tuning can use logs to make a power graph. You just have to be sure you took the logs on a straight flat road in 3rd gear from ~2k to ~7k rpm. He's also a great tuner with access to several bay area dynos.

Alright, here's the software you can use to "dyno" your car. But unfortunately it's not free. I read about it in this thread: http://www.wrxfanatics.com/index.php...=dyno+software

http://www.dynamic-dyno.com/

I've heard good things about the software and the guy who made it. Apparently he's very helpful if you have any issues setting it up. His name's Tony and he's an enthusiest from ClubWRX.

But if you have Ed remote tune your car, it'll be tuned to optimize performance at this elevation and you'll get pretty graphs.
