Default coilover problems

I have had this on going problem with my apex coilovers. The problem starts out as a knocking sound in the back left section of my car, then the sound becomes a ratttling noise. So, I take off the back left tire and shake the hell out of every piece back there, without a knocking noise. every thing was as tight as I left it. So I put the tire back on, tighten the lugs and it stops. I drove about 200 miles and it started again. Does anyone have a clue? Thank you for your help.

Did you try raising them yet? With how low they are the amount of travel may have something to do with the noise. Does the clunk sound the a strut clunk or something else? There was some minor clicking on my car, but only going over bumps or tight turns with an incline. If the rattling could be clicking then it's probably just the pillowball mounts.

Well pete i havent raised it quite yet. and that would make sence, if it didnt do it under braking and acceleration. but whats driving me bonkers, is that it some times goes away. like this morning i was angry at the noise so i went really fast, and it stopped. and on my way back down from tahoe it started again.
