Resident Game Sensai Jerimiah: couple questions. I know you guys get a ton of "I heards" but have you heard anything about Nintendo releasing a shitload of Wii's to support the demand? And if this has already happened, sorry. Also, the downloadable songs for GH for the box are ridiculously overpriced. I know many people I have spoken to won't buy them because of that. Do you think that this will cause Microsoft to lower the prices on them for future releases? I read an article about MS overpricing and charging for downloadable content that the game publishers don't actually want to charge for, and it seems kinda fucked up. The article (recent GI) said that MS bases their XBox live content prices on the current market prices. But over 2 bucks a song seems kinda ridic. Any word?

They will probably not change their pricing structure if the recent interviews are any indication. Personally, I don't play GH, and most of their other content seems fairly priced to me. My only beef with the service is that they don't have decent previews for downloadable dashboard themes, so I never know if I'm about to get something that sucks.

Forza 2 demo is up on XBLive. One track, but a good selection of cars. They even have a Subaru available - JDM '06 Legacy 2.0 GT.

The demo is fun. . . can't wait for the game!

AFAIK there is no limited edition of Forza 2, unless they pull a "Mechassault 2," meaning that all first run copies will be "limited edition." We only have a single SKU for Forza 2.

I've seen plenty of screenshots of the s204, so it should be in there.

At any rate, the special edition STis are usually not as open to mods as the standard ones, so racing in them is always kind of a let-down. With some time and money in-game, you can usually come up with something better. I remember getting my hands on a Spec-C in the first Forza and being moderately perturbed that it was actually slower overall than the STi I already had.

It's Halo. It looks alright. Of course it's a beta and the final version will look better, I'm not sure how much better. But like every Tony Hawk game after the first one, it's not really that much different. I haven't played it too much yet.

The water does look damn good though.

So far there are a few. But they didn't include all the new weapons that will be in the final game.

There is a giant one hit kill laser cannon, some weird alien machine gun much like the SMG, the original assault rifle, some other giant missle lauching cannon and grenades that stick to people and also walls and stuff. They aren't the plasmas, but aren't really that different from what I can tell. Most of the existing weapons have been tweaked. The Needler is a lot more useful now and the plasma pistol is more powerful. Most of the weapon sounds have also been redone. There are some neat doohickies like the bubble shield, a portable grav lift (think this plus oncoming Warthog = amazing feats), a landmine thingy and some other thing that drains energy and kills you.

I'm probably leaving out other stuff but I can't think of it at the moment.

Oh yeah you can rip turrets off their stands. Yeah they tear shit up.

Bioshock will be the best game of the year. I just played halo3 tonight and I was mildly entertained. Same shit different day. I didnt really care for the entire control switch up from the last 2 games. Had some cool weapons. To me it felt like a skin pack or just a downloadable update for any other game. Oh and that quad sucks ass, I dont even know why they waste time with such things as... a new sticky nade that looks like a battle axe yet does the same as the former nade. The only thing that I did really enjoy was the alien gun that charges up and unloads a fury of murder. I got a double kill with that horse of a gun.

Jeremiah try not to flame me to much but... to all of you who want to spend $40 on a kick @ss game pick up Earth Defense Force, it's great. The best I can describe it is Starship Troopers meets Dynasty Wariors. I Love This game.
