Default Helmet

Track day is rapidly approaching and I still need a helmet. Any suggestions on where is the best place / price for safety equepment?

I was figuring on just gloves and helmet. I assume that should be fine for an instruction day????

Thanks for any input.

Also should I get my tech inspection before the day, or do they require it to be done by the track?

I got my full-face helmet at www.racerwholesale.com for $100 on closeout. They have really good prices, as do I/O Port Racing and some others. You don't need gloves though. Although driving gloves are teh cool.

Yeah, I'll show up in my $9000 Matching Sparco outfit that has bold letters on the back that reads "Explodes on impact"!

Seriously though, thanks for the link, I think I'm getting the Bell M2 helmet. All the specials are for those with small cabezas!
