Okay, the website is getting its final testing wrapped up, so I wanted to kick off the official FF1 discussion thread.

For those that competed last season, nothing is really different, other than the lack of drops (no more MikeK and skimonkey30 out smarting the rest of us...

) and the new website.

Click on over to http://ff1.seccs.org and check out the FAQ for this season's rules.

For those interested, please post here or PM me, and I'll set up your account just as soon as we're satisfied with our site tests!

Looks like it's going to be an interesting season with everyone joining in. If it's anything like fantasy football beginers luck is a powerful force.

# A participant may not pick a driver more than 8 times during the season
For example We have 17 Rounds, but I can only pick Sato for 8 rounds right.

Yeah you got it. The idea is that you won't be able to pick all the heavy hitters for the whole season... you have to manage getting as many points per round while knowing that if you pick Alonso for every round, by round 8, he won't be available.

Also, what's it gonna take to get Aaron in this year... has he learned anything since last season?

And, has anyone seen Pat online lately? I wonder if he'd be interested even though he's off in AZ.

I was hoping for 15 or 20 people this season... I'm tempted to post up on NASIOC, but then I'm afraid we'd get a buttload of random people... I invited the group that I race with online occasionally, but they don't seem interested. Can anyone think of any SCCA people I should contact?

On NASIOC, you could probably cut down on the randoms by posting the invite only in the F1 thread (instead of a new thread in Motorsports or god forbid OT).
