Finally admitted to myself that I'll never need these brakes again, so up they go for sale.

They're old school black anodized ST-40 calipers. On one side the logo is a bit faded but otherwise in great shape. I rebuilt them in 2009 before the autocross season, so they have ~2500 miles and something like 8 or 9 autocross weekends on them. The rotors and pad are basically new. Slotted Stoptech discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads. I'll bring them in to the shop ASAP and measure the thickness of both. The calipers are originally meant for the RS, but work great on basically any Subaru other than the STi and maybe some later WRXs, I'm not sure what their bias settings are like. They match most non-STi rear discs quite well from what I can tell, including the stock setup on the RS I had and the rear disc swap on the wagon.

Given the near-newness of everything, looking for $950.

Great brakes!!! Buy these if you have anything but an STI and plan to take it to the track!

Stainless lines?

+1 for a nice set of brakes. I have the larger 332x32 STi version of these on my WRX, and the exact same 328x28 sized calipers on my SVX. If the Outback didn't have pretty big brakes on it from the factory, I'd probably jump on these.

I have a set of used Goodridge front lines for WRX I would throw in for free.

I just shot an email to my brother, we just picked him up an 02 wrx wagon from socal yesterday.

update: No go on my bro, he's not looking to pick up any big purchases like that, said he just wants to start with an uppipe/dp right now.

Sweet. I really love these brakes, but with the wagon project I'm really trying to cut down weight.

Bump! I'd take $800 locally.
