I just read his whole story on NASIOC, and PayPal tried to give him his money back, but the account had $0 in it to get back.

I would like to hear this different story. Actually I think I have. There are about 6 different ones on NASIOC. Really though, not only did you stick up for the guy on NASIOC you bumped his for sale post.

There is not different story, I have known SOTC since childhood. He called me the day he ordered excited about tuning his STI.

The whole thing sucks, just like your friend.

I wish it were as easy as they make you think. Just like Nick said, if the person takes the money out of their account, you are basically F'd. So any scammer who knows this will just take out their money ASAP. Lame if you ask me.

Neither Paypal nor Ebay were willing to help when I got screwed over by a scammer so I just called my credit card company and reversed the charge.
